The growing number of people participating in recreational boating and snowmobiling each year has lead to a sharp increase in the amount of accidents on our waterways and pathways. Everyone is responsible for making themselves aware of safety obligations and precautions. 

Safety is at the heart of the relationship between IWSF members and the insurance benefits available to them, this is because avoiding risk and operating safely are the goals of both.

The IWSF Foundation as primarily a non-profit organization offers as a safety privilege to its member's access to discounted insurance benefit. These discounted premiums are meant exclusively for IWSF members and are underwritten through the Group Ocean Marine Master Policy. So stop overpaying for your boat, snowcraft and ATV insurance, and help keep our waterways and trails safe and enjoyable.
